Pictures from Our Trip

Thursday, April 1, 2010

Dear Tiger Fans and Friends,

The season has been off to a fast and exciting start. We have now traveled to Tennessee twice, Kentucky and Florida. We are 14-3 and really excited to head into April where we have home games scheduled and get into SCAC conference play.

I think by now everyone successfully has a nickname, a funny story and a awkward moment under their belt. For me the highlight has been seeing the team really come together as a unit of friends. During our competitions everyone has contributed in a great way and we have noticed that the game never really falls on one teammate to get it done. Each and every game we have played just like each practice session a player has stepped up and make a different either at bat, on defense or in another way.

We have had many firsts on the team this season but one first I have to share is a triple play that happened vs. Easter Conn. last week. This play truly shows what this team is all about. Everyone contributed, everyone took care of their job, and it was a play that took every small detail into consideration. If you haven't asked a Tiger about the play be sure to do so. It was very exciting!

Thanks for being a fan! See you out at the games.
Sincerely,
Coach Skrenta
